I've been trying to buy a 3080 card for a week+ now with no luck whatsoever. I'd really like to upgarde from my 1080 card. I read that EVGA has a stepup program and i just want to make sure understand this correctly. If i buy an evga 2080 super now, i can step up to a 3080 as soon as they became readily available?

    Welcome to the forums!

You do not have to wait until they are in stock to start the Step-Up as the process is independent of the web-store. As long as the RTX 2080 Super has a -KR part number suffix, purchased from an authorized reseller, and it is registered to an account within the first 14 days of purhcase or an Extended Warranty is purchased on it you can start the Step-Up for it and go to the RTX 3080 FTW3 that is on the Step-Up list to go to. As it is independent of our web-store it can take many weeks to get though the Step-Up process.

You can see the full Step-Up terms and available cards to go to here.

What about a EVGA 08G-P4-3071-KR GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming, 8GB GDDR6? I assume that would be on the list as well. I bought it from amazon.com sold by amazon.com so that should be an authorized reseller correct?
