Step Up from 2070 Super thaty I purchased today?

Would I be eligible to step up from a 2070 super purchased new today from Best Buy? I just want to make sure that even though it was purchased after the release date of the 3080 I would still be able to step up. Thanks.

    So long as the product purchased was a new in box purchase from best buy, this should qualify. Head over to "members > my products" once you have it registered and the receipt uploaded to begin the process.

    I read the step up thing and was a little bit confused, or maybe not.. If I purchase something like this from Amazon: EVGA GeForce RTX 2070 Super Gaming and register it, I could use that to get in line for a step up to EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming for the difference in the listed price between them?  How much would shipping cost?  And an even stranger question, could I have Amazon just send it to you guys and have you do all the paperwork?? (ok that last question was a bit absurd. LOL)

    It's just that I'd only be doing it for a place in line, so you guys would get the card still sealed in the box.
     
    I can't order until next week if I do this though, so is there any special time frame?

    Be careful buying from Amazon. Most of the cards you see of Amazon are sold by third party users, and third party cards are Not authorized for step up, even if they are brand new. The card would have to be “sold and shipped by Amazon”
