Steam is reportedly bringing back its flash sales

This time, developers will be able to choose how long they want each game's flash sale to last: 6, 8, 10, or 12 hours, meaning Steam's front page will likely be updated every hour. This is both good and bad, as we've seen; however, it seems that Valve is erring towards the side of excitement and daily viewing of flash sales as being quantifiably better than the alternative. I see gamers more likely to buy a game on a flash sale as they know the sale will be for a limited time.

    I don't remember the last time I actually got something from the flash sale lol sorry! I am always on a budget.

    Doesn't matter how long the supposed "sale" is if the price isn't really a sale. That's been a problem with steam sales for years now.
