Making its way to the PC and Xbox One on May 22. A $29.99 price tag (ultimate edition $49.99). State of Decay 2 will only work on a Windows 10 64-bit operating system. I guess this is another way of Microsoft trying to lure customers away from older Microsoft operating systems.
 

State of Decay 2 Minimum System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-2500 2.7GHz or AMD FX-6300 3.5 GHz
  • RAM: 8 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 2 GB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 760 or Radeon HD 7870
  • HDD: 16GB Available Hard Drive Space
  • API: DirectX 12

State of Decay 2 Recommended System Requirements

  • OS: Windows 10 64-bit
  • CPU: Intel Core i5-4570 3.2 GHz or AMD FX-8350 4.0 GHz
  • RAM: 16 GB System Memory
  • GPU RAM: 4 GB Video Memory
  • GPU: GeForce GTX 960 or Radeon R9 380
  • HDD: 16 GB Available Hard Drive Space
  • API: DirectX 12

    Wow, pretty low requirements. I'm a little surprised since its a zombie game with tons of zombies on screen. You'd think it would be a little more demanding

    It actually uses DX11, not DX12. I bought it yesterday and have been playing it. I'm in the first few minutes but it plays very well at Ultra quality on my i7 920 at stock and GTX 1070 iCX.

    The game installs about 24 GB of game data.

    Only thing missing is HDR for pc.

    I have a 100% sRGB (IPS) monitor and when I set it to that mode it still looks pretty good.
