So I just had the latest MS Windows update and it did a few strange things to my computer.  The most annoying is that I had the size of my desktop icons and their labels set to a certain size and in bold and now they are back to default settings.  My first thought is that I will just change them back.  So I have spent two days looking for the setting to change the size of the icons and the size of the labels but I cannot find them.  They are NOT where they used to be.  An internet search only shows how it used to be before the update , NOT how it is now after the update.
Any help would be greatly appreciated

That was the 1st thing I noticed when I updated to the Creators update a few months ago.  They didn't move those settings, they eliminated them altogether...

Hey that's better than my experience last night with the latest update .... my system got stuck in an endless BIOS reboot loop....

I thought my SSD boot drive failed .( Win 10 x64 Pro ) ..?  I had to reset Bios to default before I could get into windows,
.. but even then I had  several frozen screens - some things just refused to work ??   I couldn't believe it. I ended up having to reset default Bios several more times as I tested out settings to get things back to normal.

I have more testing/ resetting tonight to put my memory timings back in...

P.S. - I have 3 systems running in my house and the other one updated just fine !! ?   I'll will check the 3rd system later...

Thank you!  I have downloaded it and I was able to make some changes , but now I can't see how to access the program within my computer.  I can't seem to find it again.

Because it's a standalone program/tool, it doesn't get installed.  Just place it in your documents or programs folder, anywhere like that.  Then right click it and link to your start menu or task bar to keep it handy if you want.  If you lost track of it, just download it again...

I had something similar happen with the new update Tuesday night, all downloaded than.. clicked to restart.. computer powered down and powered up but got stuck at the boot screen. I waited till the HDD activity light settled down and than had push and hold the power button to forcibly get out of it.
After which I checked everything even doing two more cycles of restating and all is well. I did have concern though. But no where's near as bad as your experience with the BIOS.
