Were is the fire? Last time I check IC's, caps and so on arc'ing and shorting out is not a fire.

Some have physically caught fire, and certainly the potential is there. See JayZ prior video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYgQBQMGGbw

And??? no board in theta video is sown that has caught fire? arc'ing and shorting out might look like a fire but its no fire.

Clearly you did not listen to either video in full. It is mentioned in at least one video if not both. Fire. If for whatever reason you insist there could not be a fire, feel free to take it up with JayZTwoCents and/or the people who experienced it. I'm just posting this video so people on these forums who own this board are aware of the potential fire hazard.

Clearly you don't know the difference between a fire and arc'ed/shorted or burnt out IC/cap.

Wow.. what is your problem? Get up on the wrong side of the bed? Again, clearly you did not listen to either video in full. It is mentioned in at least one video if not both. Fire. That area of the board allegedly glowing red hot even. Why the hell are you arguing with me? If for whatever reason you still insist there could not possibly be a fire, feel free to take it up with JayZTwoCents and/or the people who actually experienced it, since you know everything. Since it didn't happen to you doesn't mean it can't possibly happen to anyone, lol. I'm just posting this video so people on these forums who own this board are aware of the potential fire hazard. Lighten up Francis... damn...

ASUS should issue a recall on that mobo to show customers they stand behind products they sell. Don't leave it up to customers to inspect to see if they have one with a backwards capacitor or not.

Slight difference - I don't recall hearing of any EVGA GPU's catching fire, some just stopped working and a little red light came on to indicate an issue. In my case I kept getting black screens.. replacement has been ok though, and it's been a little over a year now.

With how much that card costs they should be offering premium service.

ASUS is NOT playing with this, and their PR rep is on top of getting this recalled and corrected. Facebook screenshots for reference:

Yup - and I'm sure JayzTwoCents covering the story to his 3.6m followers on YouTube may have helped.

That is the good thing about some streamers like him. They can use the power they have to get issues fixed.

But when the company is someone who sponsors them, they won't say anything about it. For months and months.
    It's sad.

ASUS sends stuff to JayzTwoCents all the time. The fact that he spoke out as soon as he established there appeared to be a legitimate issue contradicts what you are claiming - at least with Jayz. GamersNexus are also known for speaking out against their own sponsors when there's a problem with a product, and they should. Of course there are some that don't hesitate to lie by omission to cover their sponsors, and they basically act as a thinly disguised promotional channel more than anything else, but it doesn't take long to figure those sorts out.

Glad to see Asus *responding quickly* to fix this issue with a recall.  It's refreshing to see a vendor quickly do the right thing by their customers.

A video to keep things light, since there've been several "fire" related component issues in 2021 (Gigabyte PSU, NZXT riser, and now Asus mobo):  https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XchwE9zVdnw

The fact that he spoke out as soon as he established there appeared to be a legitimate issue contradicts what you are claiming - at least with Jayz. GamersNexus are also known for speaking out against their own sponsors when there's a problem with a product, and they should.

Neither one has reported on the 3090 FTW3 Rev 0.1, failure rates, or pointed out that EVGA kept sending customers out Rev 0.1 cards for months as warranty replacements which users had to RMA over and over again at considerable time and expense. Sometimes EVGA and its customers had even got so frustrated and had nothing else to blame and no other solution, that EVGA refunded the customers.
EVGA released the 3090 FTW3 Rev 0.1. A lot of people had performance issues due to poor power balancing. A lot of people had red light failures. It was going on for months. Finally EVGA released the Rev 1.0 version. The performance issues subsided. The red light issues subsided. EVGA created a special RMA exchange program to update from Rev 0.1 to Rev 1.0, but did it very quietly and did not notify customers directly. You had to be active here on the forum to know about it. Then New World came out. More red light failures. Then it was reported like it was something new, even though the majority of failures were 3090 FTW3s, and of them, the majority were Rev 0.1 cards that people hadn't yet got rid of. Then World of Warships. Then Halo Infinite. It kept going and going. Throughout the process, EVGA never made a useful announcement. The only announcement EVGA made was bogus about the supposed small percentage of failures and did nothing to help customers realize that the Rev 0.1 cards are inferior and did nothing to help ensure customers who made Rev 0.1 RMAs would receive an improved Rev 1.0 version. And throughout that whole period of a year, GamersNexus and Jayztwocents were requested over and over and over again to investigate and report on the issue. Silence.
