More complaining about 'wanting'.
 
Must be nice to not 'need' ...

No one needs one of these gaming cards, there is only want. Some people do require a graphics card for their systems and my son is one of them. Everybody wants one however, some just want one to profit off them instead of actually using them.

They are not hard to get...so far I've gotten 2 3080s and 2 3090s. 

I've been trying since day one and have not been able to get a single card.
 
So yeah, I think they're hard to get.

Same! Why keep buying cards if you already have the cards you need? 

To scalp them of course!

been reading stories for years about people in diff countries paying insane prices for sometimes third gen cards, guess it's u.s. turn? unless you have hours on end of free time to press f5 over and over (some still GO to work for 8+hrs a day)

Not scalping at all...got my 3080 FTW3's from EVGA auto-notify for 2 PCs. Sold them both locally to buddies for exactly what I paid. I live 20 min from a Microcenter, got both 3090s from MC just walking into the store. I've also had an Asus Tuf 3090 that I got from Microcenter as a placeholder for the EVGA FTW3 3090s. My MC gets deliveries every other day, they have tons of cards and 5000 CPUs and Dark Hero boards, etc.

I failed all of us and bought a 3090FE from Craigslist...perpetuating the scalpers nonsense. It was 1750 so I thought the 150 premium beat driving a couple hours to maybe get one from microcenter. Just wanted to add that it was somewhere I never expected to look for a gpu and I thought it was close to reasonable after looking and waiting all this time.

Congratulations, you are now part of the problem.

How can people not realize tax and shipping are part of the purchase price:
 
$1599 x 1.0825 = $1720 for a FE card.  If it was shipped, allot $30 for shipping and BAM, the seller sold the card for the exact same price he bought it for.
 

This que system is the best way for all venders (that actually care) to deal with the tariff/scammer/bot shortages issues. I commend EVGA for putting forth the effort during this bad period. I never would have spent triple on a video card in the past but considering that my current 1080 is now going for $850, this is a purchase I'm just going to pretend never happened. with the new consoles just released this is the best and most unfortunate time to bite the bullet. Shame on Newegg for the mark ups and shady buy buttons.

Oh ok, it all makes perfect sense now. Here I thought the cards were being sold to miners and OEM's. Or the ratio of cards to gamers verses business was extremely unbalance. I'm on a couple list and to see 8 -20 cards per week being notified must be an illusion. Some card versions haven't even started to notify - Its been 3 MONTHS. Its ridiculous. I realize there are some challenges, but 20 cards per week on their own site - that's just pathetic. Since the 01/05/21 the only card that has seen movement has been the 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming and even then it was like 25 cards. My point " IS " EVGA needs to service its own site much better than they have been. 
 
And I understand the unofficial lists are just that, not fully accurate to be precise. But they are good enough to see if the company even has a pulse. Oh humm, I just wait like everyone else though 

I would have to agree with you here unfortunately. The cards were starting to move a bit but as soon as the Christmas holiday hit it went stagnant. It really hasn't picked back up either. Doesn't feel right. Here's to hoping they are just playing catch up with their contractual obligations with big box stores and supply houses and that they will start filling out the queue. I've already got my card but I want the market to settle down so that the used market won't be so volatile.
