Yeah been trying to get any 4090 for a while now. Any stock alert I get they are gone before I can grab one. Hope this settles down soon as I really would like to have one now.

It seems like Gigabyte has done the best job so far of distributing to the US.  Mostly seeing these pop up on in-stock trackers.
 
Finding a MSI Suprim X (non-liquid) has been almost impossible.  I'd even settle for the overpriced ROG Strix at this point, but still refuse to feed the scalpers.

Yeah the MSI card was my first choice, NowInStock had shown no movement on those for weeks. Not sure what MSI has been doing there. Got my Gigabyte 4090 OC installed today.

SUPRIM has way more power stages 

Main reason i'm holding out for the SUPRIM.  
 
Watching Newegg today and seeing 4090's not selling out instantly is a good sign.  
 
Another good sign: looking at eBay solds and seeing the median price come down from $2400 to about $2100 over the last 3 weeks.  Hopefully the dam breaks in the next couple/few weeks.

Ebay ain't going to do anything now, they won't break even . If they have one, better be prepared to eat it.

I did see those Suprim X Liquids up yesterday and am tempted to just grab one, take the AIO off and block it.  The non liquid X is about $80 cheaper, so was hoping to see it maybe pop up.  Newegg is listing them, but they keep going before I get a chance to add to my cart.

I have that one and an EK block and will
probably put it on this weekend but this cooler really does a good job , I'm not really in a hurry. The X cards are probably a waste of money, they all do about the same thing, but they do have more beefier power stages .

I can attest that Gigabyte card is a pretty sweet card. Loving mine so far.
I so hope some scalpers get stung now.

Going by https://www.nowinstock.net/computers/videocards/nvidia/rtx4090/full_history.php the Zotac was only eight minutes  Wouldn't expect a drop on a Sunday

The only thing holding me back from New Egg is there return policy, or lack thereof. I know this is what is helping keep scalpers from buying up inventory, but with the coil whine stories for the 4090 cards and the fact that I can't really count on the manufactures to have my back like EVGA... Too risky for me.

Same here as well. I had a good experience with Newegg shipping and so till I saw the 4090 card issue when the buyer got a box full of metal instead of the card, I would rather work with Amazon on this, not to mention a local seller told me his price list and he would provide only 1 day warranty - not joking, he told me he provides one day only! - and charging full card price, Street price.

Only Option for me now is Palit weird looking game rock card, I don't like it, but it's sold at 1650~ish USD, I don't want to buy it but it's like 350USD cheaper than the card I wished for - beside good old EVGA :( - I just wish the cards will be more available soon....

Well well, kudos for catching it! You are right, the bubble is popping. I've now observed 4090's in stock for 24 hours in certain places at MSRPs. Hopefully this means NVIDIA will finally launch that 4090 Ti sooner rather than later to keep stock moving.  
 
If anyone still needs air-cooled 4090's Gigabyte has both the Gaming OC and Aorus Master available in its own store, $1,700 and $1,800, four year warranties.
