This was almost worse (IMO) then day 1 when it just went out of stock near instantly... this time I saw 'Add to Cart" like 10x... and 10x it errored out with: Service Unavailable - Zero size object The server is temporarily unable to service your request. Please try again later. Reference #15.be483f17.1600898572.11092fec OR An error occurred while processing your request. Reference #30.3c4ccdad.1600898737.8cef350 All the excitement of seeing it in stock immediately followed by crushing defeat.

So I saw posts on Jacob's twitter where people added a FTW3 Ultra to their cart and then the site crashed.
Does this mean some of the step up people should be getting emails or... ?

Third time now I got a card in cart, then website crashes, then out of stock...it's so bad it's just laughable at this point...
Same for me. Idk what they did to 'improve the site' but it was just as awful of an experience as it has been. I don't know that I've ever used a website that broke this much under traffic. Once again please 1) Let us pre order 2) Reserve our carts if we are able to add to cart 3) Send purchase codes to those that signed up be notified Any one of those would make the experience much better.

i've had the site open on my home computer and work computer since last thursday refreshing often to see and here it is add to cart ( hell i'll pay the 800 ) boom site crashes...... out of stock

I sincerely hope all these scalpers croak. Hopefully eventually regulations similar to ticket scalping will be put in place so this crap can't happen anymore.
I agree and it's upsetting seeing this all over again, over and over and over....for every new release. I've been complaining about this for years. They need to add stiff penalties for scalping. It's a cancer spreading in every industry. 2020 I feel only made things worse since most stayed home to work or what have you which increased sales in electronics only emboldening the scalpers. There's enough blame to go around, including the big etailers like Amazon and Newegg, etc., who give them a platform. I will say this to everyone anxiously waiting for one and only met with disappointment, you will eventually get one but not on your terms unfortunately. You need to wait till things normalize (3-6 months) and make sure not to allow desperation to take over in forcing you to purchase from a scalper, only giving them reasons to keep doing what they're doing.

Had the same issue in the Nvidia site add to cart pops up then the recaptcha happens and it remains stuck there 60 seconds later sold out.

I feel like a Pre-Order system with screening for bots would really solve this issue for them, you ship in the order the orders are received when stock comes in... everyone's happy. I DO NOT understand why NVidia, eVGA & others don't do this specifically because it would catch a lot of bot orders more easily instead of crashing the site every time the cards comes in stock.

I feel like someone should mention this: There is a possibility they will cancel multiple orders when they find them to be from Bots, so keep an eye out, they may come back in stock again in about an hour.

Same happened here. Got the page to add the FTW3 to my cart but all I got was "Service Unavailable - Zero size object." I was able to reload and refresh to try and get it into my cart several times but It was just an endless circle of timeout errors. Very frustrating especially because that was the exact card I was after.

Same. Saw it before he posted it, added to cart, never had a chance to checkout after that because I'd just keep getting 145 errors or service unavailable. Sure looks like the bots were able to score cards though considering they're already listed on eBay. Ridiculous. I might as well just buy another 20 series and get in the queue for step-up since I clearly can't compete with the bots who can bypass nearly everything and directly checkout. The part that really angers me is the fact that they're saying they're "manually reviewing" orders, yet they're so ambivalent to just adding a captcha to the checkout page.
