Hey all, I installed the hybrid kit on to my 3080 XC3 Ultra with no problems at all. Temps have dropped down around 20 degrees so I am more than happy with it. The only problem is that I'm getting much, much worse performance. The chart on the right is the first test I ran after installing the kit, before doing the hybrid firmware update. The other two scores are with the updated firmware and with two different Nvidia drivers. I ran X1 and it did the firmware update after I flashed the hybrid BIOS, but after pretty extensive testing, it's still significantly worse than it was with the air cooler. I've tried stock, max performance/normal in NCP, undervolting, overclocking; nothing works. How do I flash back to the stock BIOS?

I had the same issue. Use NVFLASH and use 227530 BIOS on techpowerup

94.02.26.88.92 I believe is what you want.

That seems to have done the trick; thanks! The one you mentioned wasn't listed, but I used another and I just hit 9,028 points. I know benchmarks don't translate 1:1 but that was a huge chunk of repeatable loss that I'm glad is now gone.

Hey, just to note, the EVGA provided VBIOS for xc3 hybrid conversion is bad, and it's not the same as xc3 ships from factory (the Techpowerup is). IMO you should update the link provided by Jacob and offer the correct vbios with a bios updater util like the bad vbios. This is only setting up for more confusion and problems from costumers of the hybrid kits. 

I found the same going from the stock XC3 BIOS to the posted Hybrid BIOS on the 3090 XC3.
