The attached screenshot (I won't post links to drive up their traffic) is clearly a company pretending to be a distributor so they can scalp on eBay.

There should be enough identifying information on the listing for EVGA to shut these people down.

At the very least they should be blacklisted from distributing EVGA product.

Having waited for weeks now being unable to buy a much-desired upgrade from my favorite company, seeing this listing was like a punch in the face.

rain2_usaWow...there's gotta be some contract violations going on there.

I was thinking about my "notifys" on this site, or the big queue every morning at my local Microcenter. That photo of the "box of cards" was like a big eff you to everyone who has been lining up, waiting patiently, doing the right thing, etc...

Yeah.  Bold capping "Not Scalpers" and saying they have more coming from their distributor where they are just listing on eBay under an auction...they are definitely bold.  Hope EVGA is actually looking at this seriously instead of a spam.

Yeah whomever flagged this post as "spam" has ... issues. I deliberately didn't post a link, or anything that can easily be turned into a link, and I'm supposed to be a spammer?!

30 seconds of Google-Fu and you too can have the name and address of the person running that auction.  Nice little trailer park.  LEAVE THEM ALONE.

Pretty sure they are scalpers that bought these at the Marietta GA Microcenter. 30 minutes away from them.

But nobody cares and you should go back to reddit.

I was going to report it too, but don't want to waste the mod's time.  They'll be along soon enough.

Better not be you A. E. promoting your own auction.

Go back to reddit.  Nobody here cares.

I don't hang around in forums -- reddit or otherwise -- there's just too many time-wasters posting repeatedly about stuff they "don't care" about.

I *do* care. I want to be able to buy a 30-series card sometime before summer 2021. So when I see scalpers with boxes of cards they obviously got directly from EVGA (or an authorized EVGA distributor) then I flag it.

I highly doubt they got them direct from EVGA as a distributor or otherwise with EVGA knowing anything about it ..maybe as a bot, perhaps, but even then the cards from EVGA are limited to 1 card per address. Possibly they work / manage / know someone who works at / manages a Micro Center or somewhere similar and decided to scalp them all for personal gain rather than sell them over the counter in the store at normal prices. I doubt anything will happen to them considering all the problems happening around the country at present, but still hope karma bites them hard on the butt for it.
I do have to wonder why an EVGA forum member appears to be defending them on this thread though...

Irony... I got a email for that same listing from ebay. When I looked at it was too was like "not scalpers" .. and almost spit my drink out. They are the definition of it but what ever.

I love scalpers, they keep the valuation of GPU's up and stable.  Otherwise yours and my 2080 Ti's would be worth $350.

If less and less of us FEED the scalpers, then they have NO sales. The one buying from the scalpers keep them going!

No one is desperate enough to spend $3,000 for a Graphics Card here.

Selling an $800 card for $1350 and calling themselves not scalpers is hilarious. Sounds like they work for a company that is supposed to have stock of them and decided to just scalp them all instead.

It's unfortunate there's no law against it. There really should be.
