Well I look at it as a Xeon is a Server CPU and not really a Gamming CPU.
I will say I was really happy with my last Xeon(s) (Dell T630) or I should say my MS SQL Server did.
I came close to that MB but found the X99 Classified Motherboard had better 4-Way SLI Support.

4 way SLI for gaming? Geezus... even 2 way SLI doesn't scale anymore in my mind...

If you're using for compute then I understand but u wouldn't need SLI...

The X99-E WS appears to have tons of PCIE bandwidth with the PLX switch which is nice so I wont be bound with the many NVME SSD's i'm running + GPU..... tired of that issue so I figured I'd try something different. I run vmware vm's, productivity and games all at the same time and this is a good solution.... even tho its not cheap hah

Corsair H150i 360mm AIO

MSI X570 Prestige Creation

This rig is not for gaming but Folding and Crunching. But I wanted my cards to run x8 x8 x16 x8 and on your MB it was the last I looked x8 x8 x8 x8.
Oh and other than Benchmarking in 4-Way SLI, SLI is Disabled.

The WS can do 4 x 16 on every slot... but that won't buy you much in the way of folding performance or games either... the reason im choosing it is the NVME SSD's are impacted if they dont get all the lanes they need.

With what CPU?
That is 64 PCIe Lanes.

The WS board has a PLX switch which adds more PCIE lanes even with a 40 lane CPU.... most consumer boards don't have this so you are strictly limited to 40 lanes only....
