get the best you can afford. it all comes to how much you want to spend.
Awesome thanks for the reply,
I'm getting a PC eventually and the idea of getting a completely built PC somewhere is eeewww to me.
So Im building another PC and I like the look of the EVGA z690, specs are attractive for me.
Although I am at a loss as too the significant difference between the Classified and Kingpin models, I understand both overclock, one has 2 Dimms vs 4 Dimms, and that 2 Dimm board will have stable overclock. Does the Kingpin have other selling points over the Classified?
Also right now,
Can get the Kingpin at $529 from EVGA...
To get the Classified I gotta go over to Newegg it is at 480...Or I can get a used one but those prices are 400-800 dollars.
I'm calling customer support later today to ask if they will cover my lost EVGA 1000 Watt Gold PSU, only had it for about 5 years. Though I have no idea if the warranty covers flood.
Man I lost a lot of cool PC parts ><
However the Order history shows I purchased the PSU back in 2017 and I am hoping to get a replacement as well as put in an order for a Mobo perhaps even today.
As far well my cander earlier about my situation, it is how I am coping with the situation. Hurricane Ian was devastating and it has been a tough 4 months much of the first 8 weeks I spent sleeping on an air mattress on my brothers kitchen floor.
Not a lot to do for fun around here other than cleanup the neighborhood, it is still a disaster zone and the removal of destroyed homes many which housed neighbors of mine that I grew up with is well tough.
I hope to have a nice PC in a 2 or 3 months, maybe I can have something nice to enjoy when summer break comes.
