I really need some hints, rumors, or educated guesses in regards to EVGA's plans for their next laptop lineups.
I am interested in their designs, and the positive community feedback that the company holds in terms of quality, support, and RMA.
However, the current models that they have (though they seem to be on "Auto-notify" atm), is really something I am not willing to buy yet, but willing to wait.
There are some issues such as negative feedback about laptop's PSU quality, hot vents that blow right into your right hand, very bad touchpad, and most importantly, the fact that there are no options offered that posses larger SSD storage. And another personal caveat of mine, is the screen selection. I don't see the point of 4k 60hz, while the 1080p 120hz option is only offered on the 15 inch model. I decided against 4k screen, even on my 1080 Ti watercooled Desktop, due to my observations that Pascal still struggles with handling it. The problem seems to be even more obvious on laptops. They don't cool as well, the 4k screen makes text too tiny, and it is a further drain on the battery when I need the laptop for college things in the library or classroom.
I really think that 1440p 120Hz 17 or 15 inch screen would've been the perfect option, but EVGA does not offer it.
Could I hold any hope that they they are developing something new, and refine their next laptop line up, or is the laptop's business side of things too unpopular for EVGA?
