I'm using Precision 0.4.9.0 and have "Show User Interface Tool Tips" turned on under Setup > Interface.  But, the tooltips fade away before I can read them.  Is there a setting somewhere (or some means) to keep those tooltips up longer?

Don't think so. Just take a screenshot using the print screen button on your keyboard when the tooltip is shown then post the screenshot into ms paint to view it.

At least one of the tooltips is flat out wrong when it suggests you have to to apply a profile after loading it. How hard would it be to fix that? Something is not quite right behind the scenes with how this program is being developed and maintained.

Then, on the assumption the developers might come by and see this, I'd like to suggest they change the tooltip behavior to something like tooltips stay up until the mouse pointer moves off of them.

Tooltips are a Windows function and time-out after a default duration. EVGA's software developers would need to manually set a non-default TTM_SETDELAYTIME value.

Are you sure that applies to Windows Presentation Foundation (WPF) applications? I mean, at a low-level yes, but does WPF expose that at its API level? It's a genuine question, because my programming experience is with Qt, which makes setting a timeout value extremely easy when displaying a tooltip.

About how long do your tooltips stay up before they fade away?  On my two systems here, it's about 5 seconds.  The people at Support imply that their systems don't have a problem with those tips fading away.

That's a ridiculous response from EVGA support. The tool tips on the profile list present a veritable wall of documentation (some of which is wrong). It's impossible for anybody to read it within five seconds.

I agree.  But, they seem to be saying their tooltips don't fade away as fast as mine do.  How long do yours take to fade away?

Also four to five seconds. The problem is that the time they are shown is independent of how much text they contain. Five seconds is plenty for a very short tool tip. It's terrible for a tool tip with a huge amount of text.
