Is there anyway to set the output data on the XOC to read in Fahrenheit and not Celsius? When I went to school Metrics wasn't taught indepth enough to get a good handle on the whole Celsius deal. Thanks in advance.

Welcome to the Forum pinefangCelsius Temperatures is a Standard on Computer Hardware. You can use GPU-Z Video card GPU Information Utility to show Fahrenheit Temperatures. As 99% of all Computers, Computer Hardware are managed in Celsius and you should also learn to use Celsius Temperatures on Computers. I think you are the First Computer user on the Forum to ask this, I am not saying you cannot use Fahrenheit. It took me awhile to do the same but when you tell someone that your GPU Temperatures are 146 you best add the F or Fahrenheit or you will panic readers. And Older Thread asking the Same Why no Fahrenheit setting in EVGA Precision X?

+1. When it comes to computer and computer related hardware in general, Celcius is the universal standard. When I was in school, metrics weren't even talked about yet. Took me awhile to wrap my head around what Celcius temps were as far as what's hot or cool, etc... After using it for awhile, it becomes as natural as farenheit is.

Welcome to the Forums pinefang I'm not sure, as I could not find a way to set it on my system running Precision X 6.0.6; maybe it can be done in XOC. The Temp in C, is just a reference number. So, you do not need to convert it to degrees F just to see if an adjustment make it warmer or cooler. Celsius temperature is a standard unit used when doing most science and also PC analysis. If you really want to convert to Celsius: (1.8 times Celsius degrees) + 32 = degees Fahreheit RapidTables ------> Celsius to Fahrenheit formula Google "celsius to fahrenheit formula" you will get a easy tool to enter your temp in C to get F

No need to think of converting. I could not tell you what 30C or 80C is in F. I just know what temps are acceptable and what is dangerous. That is all that matters.

Remember that Windows Calculator has a converter and all Windows OS Computers have this installed.

I have the same problem and come here by google.I did not find a direct method. Google "celsius to fahrenheit formula", :,just the principle.

I just know what temps are acceptable and what is dangerous. That is all that matters.
+2 0c is frozen water. 21c is room temperature. 100c is water boiling. 30-40c idle is great. 50-60c full load is awesome. 70-85c full load is fine but getting pretty hot. 85-100c is too hot. That's all you need to know. You don't need to know how hot it actually is. You will learn the range very quickly without ever needing to think about some comparison.
