Seeing some weird colors on the pcie connector. RMA = No go?

 have a card that powers on, with the logo and everything, but there's no video output. Was thinking of RMA'ing, but I looked at the card (including behind the backplate, which also allowed me to lose a screw I've now gotta find, but that's not the point) and the pcb looks fine. But the some of the contacts on one side of the card look less than gold: 
 
Would that preclude me from getting any assistance then?

    Unfortunately with this type of damage, the RMA deportment would reject this RMA request.

    Use a Pencil Eraser to clean them.

    Probably caused by putting in and out of slot.
