I’ve just bought a second hand card off ebay, it was only 2 months old, do I need to register it? How does the uk second hand warranty work?

Had a quick read and just want to see if its inline with the usa side of things.

It has the kr or whatever in the serial number.

What do I need to do?

Very excited :-)

I’ve entered the details, of todays date (as it days to enter as a second hand from ebay or wherever) but just says 3 years warranty...

So I have to contact EVGA directly then?

Do i get the full warranty for the product from date of original purchase?

Thought this would all be automated tbh...

This is not automated because there are certain scenarios that cannot be automated. Since your graphics card was obtained second hand, the warranty begins from the date that the product shipped out from our facilities. Please contact our team over at supportEU@evga.com for confirmation.

Shipped out from EVGA? or from the supplier? Bit worrying if its from EVGA as that could have been months before the original owner purchased from the supplier.

Surely would be a case or questions like “date of original purchase” and a follow up “date you purchased it”

I still have no idea how much warranty I have on this card... I wanted to buy a z390 dark from states to be shipped to the uk while it was in stock and told warranty would be void if exported.. now being told its global...

Seem silly I now need to email someone and waste their time to get this set up.

I wouldn’t care if the item was a few hundred quid, but a kingpin 2080 ti with hydro block is enough to make anyone want to double check they have a warranty in place...

Will I get a response if I email them? As I’ve sent emails about trying to get update on a z390 dark stock with no replies.

It's the weekend, you may have to wait until sometime Monday for a response to your emails.

Haha I’m not impatient, I emailed them over a week and half ago.

The date is from the date shipped from EVGA.

The primary/original warranty is from date of purchase. Second hand purchases are not from purchase date, as EVGA has no control over what happens once a product is sent to the vendor.

I don’t think that can be right, warranty has to start from the day it was sold, otherwise if it was old stock your saying it could come with less warranty, that makes no sense.

If it sat on the shelf for 12 months, shouldn’t give me 12 months less warranty.
