Hello folks...

If this post is in the wrong place feel free to move it.

Unfortunately EU.evga.com have no psu stock and I've been looking at the Seasonic PRIME TX-1000 to power my system and a new 3080 FTW3 Ultra.
Tuesday won't come fast enough Whooo Hoooo...ahem.

I have a seasonic 850 FX gold+ powering my 3070ti FTW3 but with extra demand on power I don't think it will do. I have a lot of RGB 😁

Feel free to recommend others.

    Absolutely yay, not the most optimal time to buy when the new spec is around corner and it's an older platform, but all that being said it's an excellent Titanium PSU, i was personally going to buy it last year, and only a super good deal on a P6 1000 stopped me. Next time i won't cave in however, Titanium and 1000w+ atleast.

    Make sure it is the newest TX-1000. I had a Titanium Ultra 850, which was supposed to be fine powering a 3090. It was causing constant black screen power off. Took 2 rounds of RMA for Seasonic to upgrade me to their new TX-1000. Haven't had problem now.

    New G7 looks cool too. I had a G6 and it was great but the G7 has. LEDs

    Seasonic makes quality PSUs. I’m using the TX-1000 to power my 5950x and 3080Ti HC, and it runs great. Haven’t started OC’ing yet, but I am sure it will work flawlessly. Great choice in PSU. They now make a TX-1300, so if there is any concern, just get that.

    I had the TX-1000, but for some reason the PC was just not stable under load. Switched to HX1200 and my problems were gone. Whether it was a fault unit or not, can't say.

    I have decided on the seasonic to power my new EVGA 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming, it arrives Tuesday.

    Note to Shop Keepers:
    Awww lads, the EU shop is looking fierce empty and sure wouldn't it do no harm to send the camels over to restock. 🙂

    Small update:
    My 3080 FTW3 Ultra Gaming arrived from Amazon Germany today. It was well packaged in an amazon box and the original factory seals were all in place on the EVGA box.

    The PSU arrives Wednesday and I went for a ROG Thor 1000W Platinum II instead, the seasonic was out of stock but the Thor is based on it anyway.
     
    The PSU arrived this morning and its some bit of kit and it all installed ok into my View 51 ARGB; I love the case but all that glass is a dust bunny magnet. I borrowed a couple of clean makeup brushes from Mrs BYG so shhhh not a word and they are perfect for dusting out.
     
    I took a few pics as I went along, they are not the greatest but i'll do a report later.

    Glad the graphics card was intact, Amazon Germany has been working alot better recently.
    Also good alternative choice on the power supply
