Now that is one huge monitor. Samsung plans to release a 49-inch Dual-QHD equivalent of their CHG90 with a 5120x1440 resolution and a maximum refresh rate of 120Hz with a 1800R curvature. This display is said to use a VA panel and is set for production in September 2018, offering users a dual 1440p experience on a single monitor.  Samsung is also said to be working on a 34-inch 144Hz 3440x1440 monitor, with production plans for Q3 2018.

Incoming complaints about how games don't support this absurd resolution. I wouldn't mind if game developers just banned players trying to use this in FPS games.

Hopefully, they make a version with G-Sync too. I'm sure it would be ridiculously expensive but totally worth it.

Sounds like a pretty nice monitor. Hopefully the specs for this are an indication of what they feel next generation graphics cards will allow us to run though they are probably figuring with the price this will be people will be using SLI for gaming on it.

It's the same as a pair of 2560x1440 at 27" each. Though, frankly, it looks like they took a large (possibly 55") 5K panel (5120x2880) and cut it across the middle.

Agreed, I'd use it for RTS games and giantass Excel spreadsheet so I never have to scroll ever again.

Rotate it vertical and you can read entire webpages with minimal scroll.

For Intel processors, 0.122 x TDP = Continuous Amps at 12v [source].
