Hello all. I got this monitor (Samsung Odyssey G7 28” 4K UHD IPS AMD FreeSync Premium Pro & G-Sync Compatible Smart Gaming Monitor (DisplayPort, HDMI) Black LS28BG702ENXGO - Best Buy) for my RTS 3080. I love it so far, but I have one issue. It says it does 120hz on console and 144 on PC. If I connect my PC using DP at 144 during gaming once a section the screen will go black for a second and return to normal, like the display driver disconnects and reconnects. When I open some apps on normal windows at 144 like Matter Control for 3D printing it does this nonstop as long as I move the mouse. If I put the refresh rate to 120 all the problem is solved in game and in windows, but it is a 144 monitor. Is this bad driver? Bad Video card? Bad monitor?
I have tried:
Re installing the display drivers choosing clean install.
Re installing Windows 11 from empty.
Turning the screen auto sync on and off.
Turning Gsync on and off.
Change DP cable.
Change DP Port on VC.

When you changed DP cables did you use a certified DP cable?

I believe so. My original I do not remember where I got it, but I also tried the one that came with the monitor. Also, my original one I have tried it with others 4k60 and 2k144 and they work no problem. How do I know they are certified? On the one that came with it says is a DP 8K cable

read the Nvidia Game Ready Driver Release Notes - for the version of display driver you using - might be a known issue

Normally if it is certified there is a certified label/sticker on the cable.
