Gonna leave system restore on this time so you don’t have to do a complete reinstall if this happens again?
I believe this is a good idea...I used to turn it off myself, but having had similar issues to yours, I decided to leave it on....
the new machines (speed and power) and size of drives makes it less a problem for me.
