Recently I've went through an RMA after my GTX 970 caught fire, along with that my CPU shorted during this incident and after a week and a half I get a physically damaged 970, I called customer support ASAP sent in pictures and made it imperative that i needed fast because of an upcoming vacation. stating that I would like to play some games before I leave but after I pay the collateral and then look at the RMA  page on my profile it says ups ground i knew it was going to get to me the day before or of me leaving so i called up and asked if they could change it to ups air the representative told me there was nothing he could do to change it and apologized for the inconvenience and to add to that they send me a 1060 i know its around 10%-40% better than my 970 but i paid 300+ along with the CPU that was damaged during this incident. This whole ordeal makes my stomach hurt and i don't know if i can trust EVGA anymore, I was recommended by friends and have seen many good stories of the service they provide but when it came to me  they came up short and made this summer that was suppose to be filled with gaming empty and now i'm going to have wait another week for this GPU and i just pray to god it works.

Hello and welcome to the forums Xavierpownz!

Normally at this point in the RMA process, the shipping method is locked in. I'm not showing that it processed and shipped today, so I was able to update the shipping to 3 day to help you out. That will cut 2-3 days off the delivery time so you should hopefully get your replacement before you leave. I hope you have a great vacation!

you should definitely not be playing games on a vacation to Jamaica:)
it's a matter of perspective I suppose - i recently had a similar problem (980ti + mobo). it sucked, but the fact that EVGA
    - trusted me i didn't do anything to cause it; immediately got the rma process going; sent me a 1070 as a replacement
    was all pretty awesome.
JaesonW's response is a pretty good example of why i think EVGA is great. it's a shame the first replacement didn't work, but hopefully the 1060 will serve you for many years to come (all while using less power).

Spending time with the family is why some of us need to play games to escape.
