Hello everyone.
I got 2 free graphic cards from my friend which is
GTS or GTX 460 very identical & a SLI cable.
My question is.....
Folding in SLI mode, will that have an impact? or should it be single player :P.

Folding will run one WU on each GPU. Make sure to setup a slot for each. Recommended to disable SLI while folding but in the past I have run with it enabled as long as the slots are setup in FAHControl. FAH does not utilize SLI to spread the load of one WU across both GPUs, so there is no benefit to folding with SLI mode.

I am folding with my kingpins in SLI without any issues. I don't know how many PPD they will get you though, thats a pretty old generation of cards.

Well if your asking does it have an impact if both cards are installed but SLI disabled i have no idea, i never had any reason to disable it. With it enabled i'm getting 8-9 million PPD so i never seen any reason to disable it.

No impact that I know of spend most of my time sitting at my PC playing games and watching Netfiix while folding and still get 2 million PPD at times. Most of the time get around 1.8 M PPD.

I was thinking of more like being in SLI mode, 2 graphic cards would be come one & only get 1 task to complete, but this is not the case.

Thats correct each card gets its own task even when SLI is enabled.
