I just received my SC17 1080 and I love it.  Of course, with laptops with HK chips and thin designs, the CPU tend to reach the mid 90s when overclocked during stress tests of CPU and GPU together.  I plan on repasting eventually, has anyone attempted on the SC 17 1070?  Couldn´t quite find the screws to remove the heatsink, although I only looked briefly when updating the SSD to the 1TB SM961 I had in another machine.  I also removed the hard drive.....I do have a 1TB 850 EVO I could use in it´s place, but I am wondering if having two SSDs uses a bit a more battery, even if just a few watts more, since I really don´t need that much space and if it uses slightly more battery rather leave the 2.5" slot empty.
Also waiting for the 300W adapter to be stock, since I always like to have two power adapters for all my laptops.....easier when moving around the house or work....plus the added benefit of backup in case one gives in.

I do have the thermal pads and good paste ready to repaste but still want to have more info on how the procedure is, since it is quite new still to attempt such a procedure totally in the dark.

Haven't tried it yet but my SC17 came with a 300W adapter.
