Hello everyone,

I bought a SC 15 3 weeks ago and it has an issue. In fact, I don't know if it is an issue or if it is normal.

Just between the two fans, there is an annoying noise, some kind of electric noise, as if a connection were not in place. When playing a video game it is particularly strong.

Do you have any idea about that ? Is it normal ?

Thank you in advance

Sounds like you're talking about coil whine. Normal? Yep.

Even if the sound doesn't not directly comes from the fans ? I mean it's really in the middle.

I have a very loud and annoying coil whine on my SC17 1080 as well.....disabling C state in BIOS did resolve it though.

I'm quite ignorant when it comes to laptop ; what does this mean ?
I also realized that the sound happens when the laptop is plugged. And also, only when i am playing video games.
So to summaryze, there is an annoying sound between the two fans, when playing a video game and when the laptop is plugged.
