SC15 and Oculus Rift

Just for information, if anyone is interested in connecting Oculus Rift to this laptop and doing some VR stuff,
 
When connected to the standard HDMI port, the headset is showing a black screen, reinstalling oculus software and nvidia drivers did not help. It is a known issue with some other gaming laptops as well. Solution that worked for me - connecting the headset to the mini displayport with Lenovo mDP to HDMI adapter

    I cannot get my rift to work, I did try a different brand of mDp to HDMI adaptor with no luck.
    Does yours still work with the Lenovo one?  If so could you link which one you got?  Thanks!

    I'm using a Rift S on the SC17 and using the provided adapter so it works great. If you have the original Rift then you will need to research and find the adapters that have been confirmed to work. A lot of them don't.
