These are always great video's, but really relative here in my opinion.  Intel kind of went off the deep end this go around...

I think it's not funny anymore... and I like that clip from Sajin, but I highly appreciate the social media guys like Linus or Jay that make a difference at this point. Intel - that's my view - is going insane with their agenda and it looks like that they got hit hard from AMD.

I can already see X299 having compatibility issues.  Just too many hardware configurations to deal with.

Intel has said for years now that they're not focused on desktp cpus, it's all about the mobile market and energy efficiency and refinements on the desktop cpus. Now that AMD stepped up their game suddenly the x86 is a focus again :)

Not that you'd notice, but I've been disappointed in Intel for the last decade. They had no competition and got lax. I'm not saying doom and gloom for Intel, but it's funny how reactive they are now that AMD's ryzen chips perform well.

In Intel's minds, I don't think they thought they had to focus on desktop CPU's due to lack of competition.  They offered just a little bit of performance increase from year to year.  Just enough to keep people buying.  Glad to see AMD putting some pressure on now.  It can only make things better as time goes by.

I died with the RAID keys/EA reference. So true!  Oh Intel how anti consumer have you become and only hurting yourselves. Just makes it that much easier for people to go with AMD.

I am not really a big Linus fan. Kind of found his outside walk in the rain kind of odd but he did raise some good points.

I kind of think that Intel will quickly invest in beating AMD and they have the R&D funding to do it. It could take two years though for them to fully come back which by then AMD might be in a good position to continue to take on Intel. If AMD is able to hold on against Intel for longer then two years they will become a major player in the CPU market in a way we probably haven't seen since the Athlon was announced.

Sajin.... entertaining vid but def some valid points. Ive seen that used before for other things but the intel version was pretty spot on. @Carbon, Im not much of a linus fan either really but he did have some really pertinent things to say about Intels flailing. Couldn't agree more about the pci-e lane issues and nvme booting but the raid key thing just makes me mad to hear that. That's just stupid, locking it down to one raid type and only intels tech etc.... Intel, you need to go stand in the corner with your dunce hat on for awhile!!!

It's a good sign that social media is not just devot to the hand that feed them... I had my share of experience with AMD and Radeon over the years and that brought me to Intel and Nvidia, but I think about myself like some cash-cow for them.  I really hope that AMD is bringing some competition back to the market.
