I removed many of the GPU monitoring statistics from HW monitoring tab GUI via select GPU statistic tab (mainly power and temp monitors). However, what this did was to stop 6.1.2 from controlling the fan speed. i.e. I had my curve for the power fan set to start at 45C, however because the temps were not being monitored the fan never spun up.

Temps were reading 35C (mem, power) in main display, if I changed the curve to start fans on 30C they did spin up, so control is still working. as far as I'm aware the de-selections I made were for user display only and not control. However, it removed them from the program space also.

I have the same problem. Temperature (MEM power) stops working sometimes. Restart EVGA Precision solve the problem.

EVGA Precision XOC 6.1.2 (Steam version)
The problem applies only to EVGA Precision and custom fan control. Disable automatic fan control in EVGA Precision solved the problem(or restart).
    -Custom fan control-

    -Disable automatic fan control-

EVGA Precision XOC 6.1.1 and 6.1.2 (Standalone version)
    -Disable automatic fan control-
    All temperatures froze ...

Oh yeah. Exiting Precision XOC should reset the fan curve profile to default / what is n gpu's bios /
Instead what happens is, it's stuck.

For example, set manual fan speed to 100%, and exit EVGA Precision XOC the gpu will keep running at 100% until restart.
    Service/application not running in background.

    Bug.

    Edit.

I quit precision xoc with 100% fan manual setting, and rebooted. I removed the auto start up option so it's not starting up.
now look at this: my evga gtx 1060 sc 3gb card should be 0dB -idle fan under 50 C.
What youre seeing here is a maximum of 45C° at 3611 RPM.
Now please confirm that this will be fixed soon.
I added a png screenshot. (im a limited member, not enough posts yet so i can not add url.

Let me add, i removed geforce driver, and now fan is now running at max speed...

Edit 2. removed precision xoc, rebooted issue does not exist.
