If I use it, it just sounds worse quality than the regular audio ports on the backplate.
 
Do I need to adjust the quality in the Realtek settings or something?
 
Resolved. If I keep the default settings and raise the bitrate in Sound settings, it helps.
 
It still doesn't seem as good quality at the back jack ports on the IO panel though.
