Reinstalling Win10 on Refurb Laptop?

Im guessing where this is a 15" Laptop, should be able to replace the HDD with an SSD? Question is, can I reuse the Windows10 Key on said Laptop? Thought number two, thoughts on running a dualboot Win10/Linux? Laptop will be used for surffing, Office/Open Office, Lite modeling....

    Yes, you can use the key on the same laptop.

    Yes, you can replace the HDD with a SSD.

    I would also recommend running the program Magic Jellybean . It scans your system & gives you all the keys on your system . Sometimes the sticker does not match what it pulls up (usually oems). If they don't match use the one it pulls up first .
