First of all sorry if this is a repeat post, I have tried to use search but no post match my need, maybe due to language barrier in entering appropriate keyword / keyphrase

I just bought an evga gtx 1050 ti ( 04G-P4-6251-KR ) 9 days ago, new, from online store (it's a decent brick and mortar computer store, taking its stock from authorized distributor). Can I register later like 3 months from now, and get remaining warranty from date of purchase or from date it shipped from evga warehouse, since registering is involving removing the card and take note of the serial number ( no SN on the box )

I feel uncomfortable removing the card and putting it back without any other purpose (introducing a whatever small amount of risk of breaking the card). Maybe I can do it later at the same time after some dust collected and need to be dusted / blown away

Why isn't there a serial on the box? There would be from any credible retailer. What possible risk in simply LOOKING at the GPU in the box for the serial?  This sounds sketchy. Regardless, as long as you have the  receipt proving you are the original purchaser, the warranty should start from your purchase date. However, you will not be able to take advantage of extending the warranty. The only thing unusual about your situation is your claim a retail box does not have a serial on it. I call shenanigans on that.

I dunno maybe breaking the card, the shroud seems a little bit flimsy, and i dont play with internal of pcs enough. The card itself had been installed on a dell vostro 3670, with the power supply located on the bottom obstructing the view of.... wait... i just realized the sn is on the back of the card... i guess i can try look at it on monday (pc is on workplace), and pay closer attention to the box, the card was still having its protective film on the cooling shroud when i unbox it

I don't see too many folks around here breaking their GPU's. A few have damaged PCIe slots. They are not any more fragile than using a VHS tape. Just don't grab one after walking across a carpet in rubber soled shoes. You might send it to ESD heaven.Your posts are confusing. Did you install the GPU yourself? But yes, the serial is visible on the back side or PCB side of the GPU.

Yes i installed it myself, please dont laugh at me, but this first venture into installing gpu after 12 years vacumn (been using onboard after my AGP Winfast GeForce PX6600 TDH broke long time ago), had left me too paranoid

It's okay. I'm not laughing at you. It is just that you left out a couple of parts that made it confusing. Both the box and the GPU should have matching serial numbers. PC's are a bit easier than when you had to manually set jumpers and IRQ's just to run games with your SoundBlaster16. But all the same physical hazards with breaking stuff is still there.  We've all broke stuff...the longer we've been at it, the more stuff we've broken.

Heavy is correct, the box should definitely have the serial number of it. It is always better to register it sooner than later, just in case.

If you have a camera on your phone you can take a photo of the serial number sticker and register from that if you can't read it from looking into your chassis.

I already found the matching serial numbers, and had registered (and uploaded invoice) the card

when I posted I didn't have access to the box, i did look the box around before, and failed to notice the serial number black label on the bottom part of the right side of the box

    thanks for the help
