Regarding quality controls on the RTX 2080's.

I have entered both my 1080ti SC black to step up to the 2080. I am returning (not evga) a 2080 FE to best buy today due to the fans controller not working, fans were stuck at 41% and another at full speed. Other issues are apparently rampant with the new FE cards, fans, bsods, etc. Are the EVGA cards being checked or undergoing a better quality control process than what Nvidia is doing on its FE cards?

I do not have details on our QC processes for our 2080s, unfortunately, but I can assure you that EVGA has the best customer support in the industry, so if an issue does arise at any time, we are here to 24 hours to assist. I hope you enjoy your 2080s!

    I personally trust EVGA cards more because they are know for the customer support. If an issue showed up with the QC I am sure EVGA would take care of it.

    Thank you for the responses. I look forward to receiving the 2080's, the 1080 ti's have been flawless with excellent build quality. I have heard really good things about EVGA's customer service and my issue with Nvidia's FE card may have come from the cooler block, which is obviously completely different from EVGA's.
    NVlink bridge is sitting beside my computer. Needs a home.
