ok.. this may be a stupid question at this stage. but what are the recommend pc specs for this game??

heard you need tons of GB to install it!!   is it true? over 100GB?

i upgraded my pc last MARCH..went from a GTX760 SC 2GB to a freaking GTX1080 Ti  with11GB!! and installed a 8700 hexa core (with 12 threads each core) CPU!!!
so i really hope they arent pushing the thing to the point that only rich folks can play it with full eye candy

Feels like it's pretty common for a game to be over 100GB now, especially the new ones. I think the original download for Call of Duty: Modern Warfare was around 120GB. The next day there was another 8-10GB patch. Pretty ridiculous.

As for the performance part... depends on your monitor. The main part of this article in the OP is that a RTX 2080 Ti can't run this game at max settings on 4K. As long as you are not expecting highest settings on 4K, you should be fine lol

Main PC | Secondary PC
Intel i9 10900K | Intel i7 9700K

MSI MEG Z490 ACE | Gigabyte Aorus Z390 Master
ASUS TUF RTX 3090 | NVIDIA RTX 2070 Super
32GB G.Skill Trident Z Royal 4000MHz CL18 | 32GB G.Skill Trident Z RGB 4266MHz CL17
SuperFlower Platinum SE 1200w | Seasonic X-1250
Samsung EVO 970 1TB and Crucial P5 1TB | Intel 760p 1TB and Crucial MX100 512GB
Cougar Vortex CF-V12HPB x9 | Cougar Vortex CF-V12SPB-RGB x5

3DMark Results:Time Spy|Port Royal

thanks.
well well....  glad i bought a 4TB  HDD........
as for resolution...
i've no interest in 4k right now. my monitor  is on my sig and it has a year at max. bought last X-Mas and i am super happy with it!
so far my 1080 Ti shreds anything i throw at it  im very fine!

besides im 100% not interest in the 2000 GEn and with the 3000 gen announced in a few months... its a mistake to buy 2000 gen gfx right now

With 2x Titan RTX, most areas are pretty good at around 80FPS with all Ultra settings (TAA on Medium). Near the water, however, it dips to the 50's and even 40's at times - this is with MGPU!!

Definitely needs optimization but yes, a single Titan RTX on Ultra gives around 40FPS which is absolutely insane! This is by far the best looking game on PC IMO.

Tells me it's lazy optimization of art assets. There is no saine reason to have a Rockstar title choking two Titans.

Personally, there's no point of having water quality set to ultra and other details you wouldn't notice.

Intel i9-12900K
ASUS Prime Z690-A
Corsair 850W RM850x
Windows 11 Professional
Arctic Liquid Freezer II 360 A-RGB
Corsair Dominator 32GB DDR5 5200MHz
EVGA GeForce RTX 3080 Ti FTW3 ULTRA GAMING
4x Samsung 2TB 980 Pro SSD + 1x ADATA 512GB SU800
Corsair iCUE 5000X RGB SIGNATURE SERIES Mid-Tower - Neon Night

Yeah, the visual quality does not fit the performance levels in this game. There are other games that look just as good, but perform far better.

so.. basically this game still needs better optimization for pc?
sounds logical.... and not surprised at all.

Hopefully most of this will get ironed out before it comes to Steam.

Yeah, I wouldn't expect much from Rockstar with this game.
