News has just surfaced, courtesy of Take Two, that the game (Red Dead Redemption 2) has shipped in excess of 23 million copies since its launch back in October, when it set the entertainment's biggest opening weekend of all time. That means more than 7 million copies have been sold on a monthly basis since then. And this was all done without the help of our own platform of choice: PC. When the game finally does release for our rigs (and there's no sensible reason it wouldn't), we'll see how starved the market actually was for a good, single-player, story-focused game, in the day and age of always-on content.

    Plot twist: They'll get a lot more money when it does come out on PC and all those console gamers have to buy it again to play it on PC. Perspective, the other side of this coin. Almost feels like Bethesda and Skyrim. Betting a lot of people would of only purchased and played it on PC given the choice but they were forced into a timed console exclusive in an anti-consumer manner.

    game is so boring can't even finish the game about 50% done.
    oh yeah the game world is empty

    I guess is we will see them use it as a next generation console title and have it also come to the PC then. Look at how many people bought copies of GTA V on the PS3 and Xbox 360 only to buy it again on the PC, PS4 and Xbox One.

    I am playing the first version right now because It was cheap.  Not going to pay over 50 bucks.  Or over 30 for a game.   Xbox.     So, I'll wait for prices to go down.
