There's a lot of preference in the process, which makes it really difficult to find a good one. You need to know if you prefer a symmetrical or ergonomic, then go from there. I've watched a lot of YT reviews--some of them include sizing info as well as opinion.
I've gotten my hands on several popular ones, and so far my slightly larger hands just love the...
Razer DeathAdder Elite (ergonomic)
Pros: great shape in my opinion for my slightly larger hands
massive forward and back buttons that I remap to other functions using the included software in my games
2 (instead of just 1) dpi buttons--for the same reason, remapping them to other functions in complex games like War Thunder
I can configure the lighting to change according to the active profile, so I know if my mappings are loaded correctly for the game I'm going to play
Cons:
a little heavy by modern standards
wired
no open/mesh shell option
the illuminated razer logo is, lets be honest, kinda ugly
I've used "open" mice like the Glorious Model O and really liked that mesh shell chassis. It does keep your hands cooler. The Model O is also awesome for being really lightweight, and feels great in that open chassis. My thoughts on it are:
Glorious Model O (symmetrical design)
Pros:
Lightweight. Really lightweight, feels amazing.
Open/mesh (whatever you want to call it) chassis feel great-a little air circulation is actually more comfortable
Cons:
forward and back buttons are tiny and just not as easy to distinguish and press as on the deathadder--most mice are this way, and if you don't use them it doesn't matter, but it's definitely less convenient if you map them to a function you're using all the time
not available in wireless (yet, I think the pre-order might be open)
Logitech G 305 (symmetrical, a bit smaller design)
Pros:
Wireless
Budget friendly
very lightweigh, especially if you put an AAA battery in instead of the intended AA
Cons:
kinda small for me (though that could be a pro for you, depending upon hand size and preference)
These 3 are all reputable options, and none of them are a bad choice. My good old deathadder kept drawing me back to it, though. And many other options exist as well, but hopefully this gives you some things to think about in your decision!
