Rebel Galaxy anyone?

Anyone here play Rebel Galaxy? It was released about Oct. 2015.
 
I just started it because I needed a Fallout 4 break.
 
One of the things I am having an issue with is mining. I have the mining lasers and the software but for some reason I can't do any mining.... yet.
 
Ships are very expensive and the enemy very tough and they love traveling in packs with fighters, bombers and torpedo craft just to name a few.
 
A lot of quests and the commodities market to generate income.
 
It's a fun game.

    I played it when it first came out. The soundtrack is better than the game. Not a bad game, but still a better soundtrack than a game imho.

    The sound track is good. I had to turn it down as I found myself foot stomping to the music and the music was drowning out the conversations as well as the onboard voice warnings.
     
    Do you remember what ship(s) you used? Currently I am with the Barracuda with extended cargo capacity. I got tired of running out of cargo space.
     
    I got the mining figured out finally. Ended up in an asteroid field with no enemies present and went to town. LOL

    Don't really remember much about it except that it was a 2.5D space shooter with good tunes.

    Long time no see. Welcome back.
     
    It boils down to a $Jackson at GOG and Steam. For me it is fun and cheap entertainment. Graphics are a bit dated but not enough to spoil the fun. I think you would enjoy it.
