Windows 10 laptops require a Thunderbolt 3 port with external graphics (eGFX) support. The Core X supports the latest desktop PCIe graphics cards such as NVIDIA GeForce, NVIDIA Quadro, and AMD XConnect enabled Radeon and Radeon Pro cards. So this is a cheaper method of giving your laptop a giant boost of power in my personal opinion then buying a dedicated gaming laptop that can cost thousands of dollars.
