Hi! Just installed my RTX2080 FTW3 and running some games, everything was fine. After that I installed EVGA Precision X1 latest build. After installation it said that it needs to update the LED's, I clicked ok, the LED's gone off and fans pushed up to 100%. After some minutes nothing changes. Even a reboot or after shutdown the card boots with 100% fans and LED's off. EVGA Precision X1 even can't read the fan %. Whats wrong? Under ICX tab I also can't see any temperature. Seems like the BIOS is broken. Clocks also are stuck at 1515 MHz in Idle.

At least this isn't happening to everyone. X1 is a little buggy but I haven't seen this behavior.
Nvidia driver and X1 version numbers?

3D Mark shows that the graphics card can't be detected as well. I could cry... What the hell did EVGA do with EVGA Precision X1 to my card?

My suggestion would be to call or email EVGA tech support ASAP

I did. They mailed that I have to RMA the card :( I was waiting 4 weeks! Now the card runs 10 min and is broken. For that I've paid 970 EUR.

I have the 2080 Ti FTW3 Ultra. It's a FTW3 card with iCX2. EVGA will need numbers. It's how all software is debugged. And you should state OS version as well. If you don't supply that, it makes their job much harder. Just saying latest is not sufficient. Many people think they have the latest software but actually don't or there could be an update between when you write latest and when they see your post. Either sends them on a wild goose chase. As a programmer, it's a pain in the ass when people refuse or are too lazy to give you the version numbers and software configuration yet demand that you troubleshoot their problem. 3DMark is the issue with not being able to validate the video card. They need to update their software. You aren't the only one seeing that.

Under Windows 10 Pro 1809 x64 I cannot get PXOC to run the same way as under Windows 10 Pro 1709 & 1803 x64. I will give it a month then go back to 1803 if Microsoft cannot get 1809 corrected. Corsair Software is also not running well under 1809. Frammish
3DMark is the issue with not being able to validate the video card. They need to update their software. You aren't the only one seeing that.
SystemInfo 5.13 September 28, 2018 is still listed as the last version and we need a new version to cover the newer cards. Why Fire Strike shows valid with the current SystemInfo 5.13 then maybe UI is going to drop support for 3DMark 11. I hope Not. SystemInfo support

Figured.. answer usually lies where the problem started. And it started with pxoc flashing the card.

Odd about your Sysinfo It is because the card is an FTW3 Card. UL needs to get on the Ball and update their DB https://www.3dmark.com/compare/spy/4619330/spy/4692058 Driver 416.16 might be a better driver over 416.34 based on the Scores above. Could also the UI Version 2.5.5029 s64 -v- 2.6.6174 s64

Yes I don't know. Somebody told me that it's because of a custom PCB that 3D Mark doesn't recognize my GPU.

I don't know. Precision X1 seems to flash a "MCU" (thats what Jacob called it) on the FTW cards. And that corrupted. We don't know why.

Nice to see its fixed with a flash & in a flash I marked your Post Best answer to help others find the solution quickly To touch on Flashing or updating Firmware as mentioned above by bcavnaugh After a firmware update it is best to power down, remove all power to the PC (monitor, USB Hub...) & hold power button 30 seconds on MB to discharge all capacitors

It's probably not worth mentioning, but just in case it helps anyone. "MCU", in this case, stands for Microcontroller Unit, not Memory Controller Unit.
