I've tried googling this, and I get a lot of varied answers, so I am hoping someone that has claimed their reward can help me.

I've purchased an RTX 2070, and installed it and I love the card very much. But this question is about the game choices and what I can do with them.
Once installed, I sent in my invoice and reached the point where I have the claim code and the next step is to use my claim code to actually claim a game from the three choices.
Specifically, I sent in my invoice, went to the page to request a code, waited 24 hours and am on the claim page with my code to use on the redeem page.
This is where I have stopped, and need an answer to my question. So that is my request of you guys.

If I claim the game (in this case Metro:Exodus) using my GeForce Experience, will this give me an actual game code I can use at my discretion, or is this going to bind the game to a specific account?
The reason I am asking is, I want to give the code to someone else and NOT add it to my own account.

If I activate the code to CLAIM my choice of games, is it going to simply give me the registration for the game of choice?
Or is it going never give me the actual serial number / registration code and simply activate the game in my library?
What if I already own the game?

Basically, I have no idea what is going to happen next, or what I will actually "receive"
I see so many different answers and speculation, but not one has given a concrete "these are your ownly options" answer.

So I was hoping I could ask here and find out.

You need to install GeForce Experience activate with the code given and adds to the Game Client Tool Like Steam.
Then you can uninstall GeForce Experience.
You do not get any kind Key to install at a Later time.
But your Game Key is added to Steam or whatever Game Client Tool you pick.

So, it forces the game to redeem on the platform it was designed for?
I have GeForce experience installed already, and actively use it

So, I take it once you redeem it, you are stuck with the game and cannot trade it to a friend or give it away?
This is why I was confused. Some people say you can trade it, others that you cannot trade it.
    Thanks for the info!

    Yes
"cannot trade it to a friend or give it away?" Yes and No.
Once you have redeemed the code given to you and the account can only use it.
If you have a Code and have Not Redeemed the code you can give it away But if they do not have an RTX Card installed they will not be able to redeem the code on their Computer and it must be a Model that is on the Qualifying list.

For the most part this is True "Some people say you can trade it" per the Rules.
