Went to a local store and bought one there....well now I need to wait till they get them from EVGA if they ever do. What a joke. Spend almost $3 grand CDN and walk out with nothing but a receipt. How the hell do you not distribute stock weeks ahead and be prepared for this? If you haven't then the release date should have been pushed back till you did.

This is ridiculous.  Just open up back orders instead of a hungry game where everybody hammers your website to death.  I have gotten to the final confirmation page 5 freaking times and every time it just kicks me back out to the main store page.  You guys kept saying you would do better on the website for the past week and nothing have changed.

I agree with you about backorders, but Daniel has already said NVidia won't let them.
 

It's like NVidia was doing everything the could to make this launch as enraging as possible, never got past giving them the CC and the PayPal, in fact still have a stuck cart on one tab but the inventory is less than zero or some crap, I would have preferred to get a you're not getting one next day shipping message but it'll be there at next restock vs now having to continue to play this game. I did get an Xbox yesterday, but an Xbox won't render my 8k video files for work.

Yes, having a 3080 FTW3 Ultra in my cart for over an hour and 45 minutes and not being able to complete the checkout process was soooo much better.

I'm going to try and score a HC 3090 whenever they finally release. Maybe by then (Late Oct-Nov) the demand, particularly for the 3090 will have died down and I'll score one on release day. I was plagued by website errors trying to get a FTW3 3090 in my cart all day on the 24th.

LOL I feel your pain. I was at work with the FTW ultra sitting in my cart screaming "why won't you ****ing work?!" My co-workers we're looking at me like I was so stupid that I was this upset for not being able to purchase something worth $1,800 usd.

I was able to complete my order for the FTW Ultra and already got my confirmation email.  Hopefully it goes through all the way.

I think the market was a lot larger b/c so many folks haven't been able to get a 3090 yet.  It would have been very hard for me to say no if I managed to get one into a cart.

I mean I know I can because people have gotten them... but I've had at least 15 in my cart and never gotten through a full checkout.
