FWIW, I've been using the FTW3 Ultra 3090 until yesterday (when it just crapped out and there's no video signal anymore - a red LED light is on) - compared to the 3090 FE in the same case, air-flow setup etc., the FTW3 runs ~ 10C hotter than the FE under load. I was quite surprised at this as I thought the EVGA card would be cooler.

I ran 100/900 OC and would idle 32C and peak around 65C.  Thermals really depend on how your case is set up.  As everyone else said though, you're in a good range.  


You have a custom fan profile set up then?

Haha that's exactly what I'm thinking too about the 22 Degrees lol

This is definitely possible as my card can idle that low, but is usually around 26c. I will take some photos to prove this is you like? Also when gaming I’m around the 49 to 50c mark

Just an update on this.
I’ve gotten a new case Lian Li LanCool 2 Mesh Performance. I added Arctic P12 PWM 120 mm fans to the radiator on the top as well as two at the bottom below the gpu. There are two stock fans at the front and 1 in the back. The computer is still in the closet but the GPU is running average 52-55 C while gaming. Im waiting on the hybrid kit to come in so the temps would go even more down.

In here I had my RTX 3090 at 60º Idle. After some investigation, I noticed the "Boost Lock" function in X1 was activated. Deactivating it immediately dropped temps and clock. Idling at 38º~40º now.
