Look at your system processes and check what app you have that is using your GPU.

If you have "Prefer Maximum Performance" set in the Nvidia Control Panel, this is how the 30 series operates. Set to "Adaptive" and reboot if it is.
If you don't have that set, try lowering your refresh rate to 120. If that fixes it, it's a driver bug.

I am on 1080P but I will keep it at adaptive.
