I just got my 3080 FTW3 yesterday and it peforms pretty well, until... the memory junction temps. It sits at 84 idle and 105 during games. Well then I mined; no I am not a miner, I camped microcenter a couple times to buy it and game and mine to make some money when I'm not using my PC. My memory junction temps consistently stays at 110, no more, no less. I start at 84 mh/s (already low), and end up at consistently 69 mh/s (yes I'm being serious). Also, I don't know if this is high but my gpu temps are 60 idle and sky rocket to 84 when at 100 percent usage. And then my fans go to max rpm and drops back to 64. I tried underclocking and even undervolting. I don't know, do I have a defective card?

Update :  I installed X1 and updated the vbios and enabled rebar yesterday, could that be problem. I did remember droping a few mh/s after enabling rebar.
Update 2 : Nope, I disabled rebar and did a bios flashback, I'm getting 55 mh/s and spikes from 110 junction to 116. I really need help!
Update 3 : My third day with this card, I'm not only crashing but getting artifacts and 1-3 seconds of game freezing. Note that it even happens when I play minecraft or watch youtube. I'm getting really unlucky.

At 110 make thermal throttling and star 84mh/s and end 69.  Your card can damage at 110

    Are your fans working?

You probably need to disassemble the card and apply new thermal pads/thermal paste, assuming your fans are still working, it sounds like the memory isn't making effective contact with the heatsink anymore.

Your junction temps get up to 110C when gaming?
I have a kingpin, I idle at 44C, and when gaming (outriders), I get to around 70C (but I did the thermal pad/heatsink mod)

You probably need to adjust your fan curves

Idle at 60C sounds like the card is not actually idle for one. My 3090 FTW3 Ultra sits at 22C and my 3070 XC3 Ultra sits at 17C.
Check PX1 to see what mem and gpu are at when you think the card is at idle. My 3090 and 3070 sit around 405 MEM and 210 GPU.
Try PX1 Aggressive Fan Curve and see what happens to idle temps.
Post an image of your case, with side off if it does not have glass side, so we can see fan setup.

probably has some mining malware running in the background, someone is mining on your PC and you dont even know it... lol

If you mine, you are a miner. Accept it.

My mem junction while heavy gaming at 1440p full ultra is never over 82c. Idle the pc sits at 22-24c. GPU temps rarely exceed 70c. All that with a 3080. You should really watch what programs you run though and if you don't know stuff about mining don't bother with it because you may end up in a botnet mining for someone else's profit.
