Basically I have been saving up for 2 years to be able to afford a graphics card like this and i really need it now but i cannot spend more that 400 pounds on it and if i get the retail price i would be able to afford it but i need it in a space of 1 month and its been sold out everywhere. Is there anywhere i can get one? with evga elite could i get a GPU quickly? Is it even worth it? Rn i have a pc with no GPU and i am very VERY despirate and i hate those Scalper prices.

Easiest way is to pay a scalper (also the worst way)
2nd - drive to a Microcenter store every day for their drops in person .
3rd- buy an entire system from one of the many sellers online like Origin ,Xidax ,avadirect, ..etc...
4th - hope you get lucky in the newegg product shuffle
5th - wait in line in queue system for many, many months to a year
All terrible choices.

so what is a good choice then? also im still a teen so i cannot drive and im broke so i cannot buy a whole system to get a rtx 2060. how do u go to the newegg product shuffle? how long is the queue system? what is a microcenter.

As far as an EVGA card in Britain or EU, you're screwed. Look for one of those manufactures that don't service the USA.
it does not have to be an evga ccard, i just need a graphics card in general thats a 3060.

It's unknown when the shortage will end. The shortage isn't just affecting graphics cards. Pretty much every product in the world that requires silicon chips is affected by the shortage. Companies are spending millions/billions to try and solve the problem. Intel are spending $20 billion USD building 2 new silicon chip factories but they won't be complete until 2025. The market is going to be weird for some time.

The prices are going down pretty fast. ive done some research and i think buying would be bareable from ebay in 2 months at most and it will go back to normal in late 2021 - early 2022

People think that they "need" them, and when they have the chance to buy them, they buy them just because of the exhilaration of having the chance, even if they don't even need them. For example, one person on this forum "accidentally" bought a 3090 Kingpin and had to figure out what to do with it, and another user on this forum had an "extra" 3090 Kingpin that they put in their HTPC because they didn't know what to do with it. This is a sickness. When people's mental health improves, the crazy demand will subside.

so how long do i wait. Sorry im just a despirate 16 years old who is broke and has a 3 month holiday from school. It is very unfair indeed because these people are even profiting because of the pandemic / shortage.
