When I pulled off the XC RTX 2080 Ti & RTX 2080 Ti XC ULTRA Coolers Over the VRM on the Left Side of the GPU it was like pulling paper thin pads off.
They just break apart.
Great be nice is someone tells evga to include a new set of paper thin thermal sticky tape so when it's time we can put the heatsinks back on our cards for resale or if theirs an issue with the block were not stranded with nothing.
You had the same on your FTW3 card did you not?

When i am taking them apart i check the sizes and order strips for them right then so i don't need to worry about it in the future.

I'd like to think the Hydro Copper would work well with the Koolance EXC-800. If the 800 can handle 8-12 cores + gpu, that's a lot of freed space from radiators and fans.
I would think a whole lot more than on 12 Cores and Pair Of Graphics Cards. Along with temperature and set-point, EXC-800 can report internal coolant flow rate, pump RPM, and condenser fan RPM on a customizable 2-line OLED display. An adjustable relay trigger output on the rear of the unit is available based on temperature. - Cooling capacity: 800W (2730BTU/hr) @ 25°C liquid/ambient
- Temperature options: liquid set-point (1 to 50°C), external thermocouple set-point (1 to 149°C), liquid and ambient delta-T (-50 to 50°C), external thermocouple and ambient delta-T (-50 to 50°C); toggle °C/°F

Nope. No thermal tape to be found on the ftw3 cooler. Was all one piece unlike the kingpin cooler so no need for tape. I have many packs of thermal tape but there like over 10 years old haha. Dried up by now and wont be able to peak the backing off.

What is Thermal Tape?
Paper thin sticky double sided tape with thermal properties people use to stick heatsinks to mainly memory chips. Either that or one uses permanent thermal epoxy to hold them.. which I've done in the past and usually one can get it off if you slap the card in the freezer to help weaken the glue and pry it off. Always worked but failed on one old GPU.. heatsink is on the gpu die for life. :/

I did not have any Thermal Tape on my Cards as well.

So have we heard anything new on the HC block or is EVGA still holding out? :) This would be a great time to get my hands on one as my system is torn apart for a CPU RMA. So much of the loop was “temporary” pending news on this block.

Maybe there spending extra time on including insulation for those few that gona go below zero? Pre packing a foam shield on the underside.. I'd have no excuse not to join haha

is there any news about the Kingpin with Waterblock? I'm getting more and more annoyed with EVGA.
They don't do my beloved Classified Graphic series any more. I would buy a Kingpin, but only when i can get a waterblock, too.

It has been stated numerous times that the KPE HC block will only be an accessory and will not come preinstalled on the card. You must buy both the hybrid card and HC block separately.

Damn.. I just opened up my KP copper block to check for that common broken screw mount on the oled screen..
Yup mine is broken as well :/ was in a air bubble so packing isint the issue what they needed to do was slap a large thick foam pad on the front side of the block so pressure cant be put on the olde screen and break it off.
So hopefully I can find that post was one mentioned the longer screw needed for the quick fix as thats the route I'm going to take as I'm not waiting a week for it.
Am about to dismantle the build to transfer it over to the new case.. last thing I needed to check before pulling the plug.

I think they just stopped selling them because so many were being delivered with damage to the oled mount and the way they were manufactured. Of course it's only speculation. I have started testing with this mod. https://forums.evga.com/fb.ashx?m=3002608
