UPS screwed me yesterday man they didn't deliver even though it said it was going to. Oh well hopefully today or they lost it. And by lost I mean some scum stole it. Little wonder if that happened right after it got into Cali.

Can we purchase extended warranties on the cards we receive from the Step Up program if we didn't get it on the original card (ie. purchase it for the 2080 TI if I didn't for the 2080)?

Yeah, I used to love BFG.  Last card I had from them before the went under was the 260ti.  Had many of their cards before and the lifetime warranty was great.

On another note, looks like they updated my Step Up profile to show that they received it today.  It's 6PM PST in their time zone so I doubt I'll see an update that a card was shipped out to me tonight.

Yes, the Step-Up card is considered a new card in all aspects except for being used to Step-Up again.

Everything is security.

I'd like to provide some details on my experience, is there anyway to find out when you originally entered the step-up queue? I must have deleted the original emails.

Not sure exactly, but I enrolled for Step Up the same day I registered my card's serial number with EVGA.  It could at least give you a ballpark time frame.  Otherwise, best bet is to call/email EVGA and ask.

You can go to your Profile and "View Details" on the card:

Overall, I've been incredibly happy with how easy the Step Up program has been, and EVGA's flexibility (they actually gave me a slight extension to make my payment).

I originally enrolled in the program on September 28th, and received notification that I was ready to go around the second week of January. My card arrived back to EVGA yesterday, and my current status shows as "product received".

Does this mean my old card has already been tested, etc? Just curious what status changes I should expect from here...currently I'm without a PC and while Kingdom Hearts 3 on my Xbox One X is keeping me busy, I'm hoping I'll have my beastly 2080 Ti in time for the Division 2 beta which runs from February 7 - 10.

Man, you waited a bit before submitting payment and sending your card in lol.  I only delayed because I had to wait until next day for them to open to ask about changing shipping method for the new card, as well as not making it to USPS before pickup cutoff time.

I'm in the same boat though.  Hoping they have quick turnaround time on receiving card, testing it, and shipping out the new one.

Someone mentioned it can take 1-2 days.  I've scoured this thread and saw some as fast as same day.  Unfortunately mine wasn't.  Still holding out hope they might ship it out today so I can get it installed this weekend.

Yeah I did wait about a week or so, kudos to EVGA for granting me the extension. I had the funds set aside before the new year, but I started traveling for work and ended up buying a Nintendo Switch. Don't let the low cost of the system trick you, by the time you buy all the accessories needed to make it a functional system for an adult you'll be north of $500.

Looks like they received the card so should be interesting to see how long it takes to ship out.

Sounds like there’s 3-4 of us that all had our cards received on the 4th, good luck to you all! I’m thinking of changing my case while I wait on the card...

I am guessing the ones delivered to EVGA on the 4th and 5th will ship out the same day.

HIGHLY doubt it, there's probably a lot being delivered everyday for step ups now.

Well, now that I know it’s 1-3 business days on average I’m not so worried. Sounds like I’ll have it back before the end of the weekend.

Also...

Got notification at 8:44PM EST that they shipped mine.

Unfortuantely, I'm on the opposite side of the country from EVGA so UPS is saying it won't be here until 2/11 (next Monday).

Sucks but at least they got it moving.

One day turnaround, that's nice. I also received my shipping notification email at 8:44pm
UPDATE:  UPS Tracking indeed shows as "in transit" this morning, scheduled delivery on 2/7
UPDATE: Delivered on 2/7

Ditto. Though we will see if they have actually been shipped or they just created the labels. Wish I had upgraded my RMA shipping back when now.

Edit: It actually shows as being picked up by UPS at 9PM (didn't realize they did things that late) and in transit from UPS to the East Coast as of like 2AM.

"If you take advantage of this offer, you can redeem your game codes in GeForce Experience. Install the software, access the drop-down menu in the top-right corner, and choose ‘Redeem’. After that, you can head over to Origin.com and find both games in ‘My Game Library’."

All I could find was this statement, makes it sound like there would be codes in the box, maybe someone from EVGA can reply, otherwise maybe call customer service or open a ticket. In other news I am so impressed by EVGA, 1 day turnaround indeed for my card to be shipped and since I chose Next Day Air Saver I should be installing my card this evening!

Well at least you can still get your free trim kit

I don't have permission to post links, but just Google "EVGA free trim kit"

Got an email saying they auto-registered my card/serial number and to verify it when I get the card.

Will wait until I see the card in person to figure out which color trim kit I'll request.

Yeah I give them credit. Did not expect it to have same day turn around considering how busy they must be. Though I have always been treated right by EVGA.

I'm sofa king impressed! My card just got delivered!

All in all, the entire shipping process of sending my old card in and getting the new one back took only 7 business days with 5 of those days being that my card was in transit to them.

1/28 - my old card is sent out from Tampa, FL to EVGA's warehouse in Brea, CA

2/4 - my old card is delivered to EVGA in Brea, CA

2/5 - my new card is shipped from EVGA in Brea, CA to Tampa, FL

2/6 - my new card is received in Tampa, FL

Obviously, the next day air shipping is responsible for me getting the new card so quickly after shipping, but EVGA deserves the credit for taking less than 24 hours to receive my old card and ship out the new one. EVGA has gained a customer for life from me unless their cards start spontaneously combusting.

That's actually kind of unfair since we DO pay $$ for our new cards, we just get a trade-in value for our old ones. So we stay loyal customers and use the step-up program but then get locked out of the offer? Is there anything that can be done here (directed to eVGA folks)?

I stepped up 2 1080Ti's to 2 2080Ti's. Being able to at least get 1 set of that offer would be nice.

How is it unfair? They let you trade in two used cards  for two brand new cards, without even devaluing your initial purchase.

EVGA is the only company that offers a program like this. It's thoroughly fair.
