There was a similar post on this same topic last year, though it was for a different variant. Thread can be found here:


In this thread it was recommended to use 1.5mm thickness thermal pads as replacements. Does this hold true for all variants? The OP specifies that theirs is an XC variant, but I'm unable to find any guides for mine specifically. I'm pretty sure mine is just the baseline RTX 2080.

    XC and other non-FTW and non-water cooled models should have the same thermal pads, but to be 100% sure, I recommend you reach out to our support team at support@evga.com and provide the serial number, so we can provide you with the exact information you're requesting for your particular card.
