OMG i had a fatal error no I am scared to restart!
I ran :
nvflash64.exe --protectoff -6 2080TI-380w.rom
AND got:
ERROR: NV_UCODE_CMD_COMMAND_PREP failed
I have a Nvidia 2080 TI Founders Edition

GREAT it worked! I did a restart and no problems!
Reason I was a bit scary was I once flashed my 1080 GTX and It wouldnt boot! required no 2 gfx to flash it but I saved it! ;)
Also the price tag on 2080 TI
Well I had 123% and now 126% I tought it was 127 or 130%??
But thats not possible? I guess ill have to see how much I can squeeze out of exstra 3% then..
On 123% I manged +125 core and +800 mem..
Ill try 150 core and 1000 mem... I have liquid cooling..

+150/+1000. ? ok thats pretty amazing.. Are you on LC or AC?
Because when I run thoose numbers on liquid cooling .. eventually it crashed because it reaches the temp max og 86-88g. And there is nothting wrong with my LC..
it idles at 37 Celcius and stock speed is about 60 celcius in heavy games like far cry 5...
Do you use "curve" in Afterburner? og how much voltage? Mine is at auto 126% I can see it reaches 1.050volt .. but I was considering a "curve" tuning and trying to find minimum gpu voltage..
But I guess that fat 2080 TI GPU chip and GDDR6 chip are runing pretty hot when OCéd..

Just on air. Stock voltage. 100% on the fans.

126% is most likely allowing the card to boost even more with your oc applied causing the card to become unstable.

Yeah properly but When applied to much power the card does run hot even on LC
How did you OC? With scanner tool (curve) if yes what’s your top gpu volt for +150?
Or regular slider +150?
Also your version of 2080 ti I believe it has an additional power phase over FE model... maybe that is required for stable of high

Ok listen to this! very strange! :-o
I flashed back to FE bios .. .changed my settings to yours only diff was 123% powerlimit.
Guess what? Not only did it work with no crash it also made a personal record breaker (benchmark) AND now for the most strange thing! The card is now running much cooler!???? It came at peak in bench @ 73 g celsius before with other bios same settings it would smash into 88 g temp limit! (with 126%) and mid 80s with lower power limit! Thats a diffrence of 15 g cel. !!!! With same settings, same card only another bios.. that dosent make sense! but i am happy I flashed back because I felt it behaved odd after flash, you know better before.. but I dident pay attention of previous settings that much due to card is brand new! got it friday the 2nd nov..
But odd experience that in the end went back to good! But I guees my card werent that happy with your BIOS lol ! :D
But now that I have some headroom temp wise to play with I could even try a higher core clock.. I know another guy with LC and FE.. he is runing 200 on core.. I dont know if it is game stable though..
Anyway great I solved it! :)

Wait what? You hit 86 degrees on water? Something is wrong there.

You are absolutely right there was! And I JUST found out what it was..
I wanted to experiment with the 380Watt bios.. It provides a power limit up to 126% (mine was 123%)
My answer is right above as I just wrote to the guy who assisted me through flash.. It was actually also he BIOS :)
Anyway here it is:

Nah it’s custom loop but stock is speed is around 61 g .. so it fits ok with heavy oc and volt 73 g under full load ... idle is 28 g
My 1080 was the same ... I could have some better flow in my case H440
