I currently received an RMA'd card from EVGA and cannot for the life of me figure out how to get Precision X1 to show me the LED option. The LED is working, it's not black, etc. Fan seems to work perfectly fine, etc. Is this still an MCU issue? I can't find an MCU update for this particular card and didn't want to flash the RTX 2080 XC MCU and take a chance on bricking this card. Any thoughts as to what to do? I certainly hope I don't need to RMA this card again. I have uninstalled/reinstalled the software, formatted the system (for other reasons), and still no luck.

I did try the 2080 XC MCU update, and it won't take it. I also don't want to force it as that just sounds like a recipe for disaster. The cards do look identical to the regular non super XC hybrid though, and the super on the cards is just a sticker so I would imagine the MCU is probably the same, but just named differently. I still don't want to take that chance and make it worse than it already is, as for now it's just a minor annoyance since my build is white, black, and blue anyways so it's fine for now, but it's still something I'd like to change.

It's beginning to look like nobody cares. I've got $750 into this card and busted RGB, kind of crappy, especially considering the first card failed in less than 3 months. Now the replacement has faulty RGB.

    update 25-Sep-2020

I got a reply from EVGA support team regarding the 20 series "SUPER" variant cards as per below:

"Unfortunately this card was not effected/didn't need a specialty mcu update as it came out way after the cards that needed this hot fix, sadly the issue with your card here is going to be linked to the card itself as it may be a bad reading on the micro controller or something else"

so no update for us boys, enjoy your cards if they still work :D

    peace!
